im new to the forum because im interested in a Tim Armstrong model but barely find any information on the Neck thickness at 1st and 12th fret. I come from the Les Paul camp (have an Epi 56 Goldtop and like the Big neck) and am considereing that Gretsch
im just wondering if someone has some actual measurements of the neck?
besides from that, would anyone able to weigh up some tonal differences of the maple hollowbody with the filtertrons to a mahagony les paul with p90?

i play mostly distorted sounds like.. well Rancid and social distortion for example. But sometimes some ZZ Top or AC/DC catches me and i know that they play some Filtertrons. I saw that TV Jones offers some P90 for a Filtertron mount.. maybe that would be a good thing out of both sounds in the future?
