Any guitar with single coil in the bridge, with some amp tweaking, and the right picking technique can get CLOSE to a tele sound.
But not quite.
Really only the Tele pickup on a plate, Fender scale length, bolt on neck, and maple fretboard can get the true tele spank. Also the trad Tele neck pickup has its own thing goin to. Im not really a fan of it, but its definately unique.
If you really want that sound, just get a Squier CV 50s Tele and be happy.
