Thanks all for the encouragment. It's been a fun project. I get to cross off another holiday project from my list.

I've put an old set of strings on it while i set it up and it sounds surprisingly good. The action is low with no fret buzz. I havent set the intonation yet, but it is very close and stays in tune up the neck.

I like the Jazzmaster trem, the tension can be adjusted easily to alter the responivenes of the tremolo arm.

This morning I'll fix the wiring and fit the strap locks and string trees. I used a vintage mustard cap so i want to hear how it sounds!

My wife is also telling me to get a decal made as it needs a name. Can't disagree now i have approval.

The name's going to take some thought. I was thinking of something like Nadles in fender spaghetti script then a name - but what to call it. Telemaster, Jazzcaster, Surfcaster, Surfmaster etc all seem to be taken.

Could always call it Ferdan Nadocaster.
