my idea of a cheap reliable volume pedal is the volume on the guitar. high quality CTS pot, with a .001-005 polystyrene cap across lugs 3 and 2. A500K is fine but some find
B500K a better bet.
ps. I am the proud owner of an old morley volume pedal but only as an ornament in my
closet under my shoe rack.
